- Yoga Journey: Lisa loves Yoga! She has been a fitness enthusiast her entire life and was a D-1 collegiate athlete who 1st started weaving yoga into her life via VHS as a teenager. In 2005, pregnant with her oldest child and working as a Family Preservation Therapist, she attended a workshop “The Body Keeps the Score” with Dr Beasel Van Der Kolk. He spoke about the benefits of a somatic (body) approach to helping people heal, which resonated deeply with Lisa and inspired her to take her 1st Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2026. She gained a deep appreciation of the mental, emotional, physical and subtle benefits of yoga from her training and it provided deep personal growth, healing and transformed her life both personally and professionally. Ever since she has been on a mission to learn, practice and teach as much yoga and embodied movement as possible.
- Lisa has an eclectic, lighthearted, inclusive and compassionate yoga approach, borrowing from her many mentors and life teachers both on the mat and off. Her therapeutic slow-flow style encourages self-exploration through the body and enhances overall mind body fitness. She is trained in a variety of modalities including therapeutic phoenix rising, restorative, vinyasa, couples, kids, prenatal, life force, subtle body, Hatha, Ayurveda and more. She loves working with yoga clients one-on-one, as couples, teams and groups of any size.
